Sorry, but Mischief is a fully involved experience, for the dedicated fam! Besides, if you came for one day, you wouldn't want to leave.....

Is Mischief family friendly?

Most definitely! We have a 'Mini Chiefs' kids area, with toys, games, dress up, crafts, workshops and a dragon parade! There will be a quiet camping area available too, so your little pirates and princesses can get some well-earned rest after a day hard at play.

Can i bring any alcohol with me?

You can, but within a certain limit.

You can bring around 12 cans or the equivilent (for example a box of wine) on your first entry.

At the bar you will be able to get whatever you like; beer; cider; wine; spirits and special Mischief cocktails at reasonable prices. The bar is open the entire time the music is running so you will not have any problems staying merry!

No glass may be brought on site.

Anything else?

We have a fantastic security team, so if anyone behaves in a threatening or aggressive manner they will deal with it firmly and promptly. Aggressive behaviour or language will not be tolerated towards public, artists or crew. We are all here to have fun and enjoy ourselves. No fireworks, explosives, glass, BBQs, potential weapons or illegal substances will be permitted at Mischief.

But most of all HAVE FUN! Immerse yourself in the fairytale world of Mischief, explore the secret places and hidden dens. Welcome to MISCHIEF FESTIVAL's first chapter of a long story to come..

Are dogs allowed at Mischief?

As much as we love our pooches, we don't have the facilities or the license for dogs. We want to make sure the site is clean and safe for everyone. And unfortunately, not everyone shares the love, and we want to make sure that EVERYONE enjoys Mischief. The only exceptions to this are registered guide dogs, in which case you should contact us at before you arrive.

Will there be medical care?

There is an information and welfare tent with registered first aiders available around the clock. If anything more serious happens we have laid out the site so the emergency services can access the site in the quickest time possible.

Can I have a BBQ or fire?

Camping stoves are allowed, but due to the amount of extra manpower and money it would take to ensure you stay safe, BBQs and fires are not allowed. There is however a communal firepit and BBQ in the festival, with an extra one on Sunay night for the finale.

Is there a cashpoint on site?

There is no cash point on site. There will be directions available from the info tent, but we are quite out of the way and it will only be reachable by car, so try to bring enough to see you through.

What are the policies and procedures in place for drugs and illegal substances?

The dealing in or use of illegal substances is against the law and is in no way condoned by Mischief festival. These laws are in place at Mischief just as they are at any other location throughout the country. Police and security will be onsite and may carry out searches to prevent any illegal substances from being brought onto the site and prevent any use or dealing within the site. Persons suspected of dealing or using illegal substances at Mischief will be searched and may be ejected from the site. Not only that but you are also likely to be arrested and dealt with by the Police.

Using drugs can be disorientating and lead to dangerous situations, especially in crowds. There is so much Mischief to be enjoyed that you should not be dependent on drugs to aid your weekend in a positive manor.

When onsite if you or someone else needs help or assistance then visit our medical or welfare facilities. If you are unsure where these are ask one of our staff to help guide you there.
